Crackle Voice-controlled Experience on Xbox 360
Crackle, Inc., Sony Pictures Entertainment’s multi-platform video entertainment network, has launched on the Xbox LIVE online entertainment network as a free full-length Hollywood movie and TV app, it was announced by the company. Crackle’s partnership with the Xbox 360 marks another exciting expansion for the brand, broadening its slate of distribution partners for its users. The Crackle app is now available in the Xbox LIVE marketplace in the U.S., U.K., Canada and Australia.*

ESET has been named a 2011 Top Rated Product by AV-Comparatives
ESET announced it has been named a “2011 Top Rated Product” by AV-Comparatives and has secured its 71st“VB100” award from Virus Bulletin. Both awards add to ESET’s long track record of great results from these distinguished testing organizations.
The “2011 Top Rated Product” recognition also comes with a ranking of “Best Overall Speed 2011” and ESET’s sixth “Advanced+” award in performance testing from AV-Comparatives, an independent research organization. In addition to receiving the highest possible number of “Advanced+” awards in performance testing, ESET has received more “Advanced+” awards in retrospective tests than any other vendor, which is given to products that have excellent heuristic detection rates and low false positives.
Additionally, ESET has won its 71st “VB100” award from Virus Bulletin; the UK’s independent testing antivirus authority. ESET NOD32 Antivirus holds the world record for VB100 Award wins among all security solution vendors and currently has 50 consecutive wins. In the latest Virus Bulletin test 54 products were tested on Windows 7 Professional 32-bit systems. A little over half passed with ESET coming out ahead of many competitors, including Symantec and Sophos, who failed the test.
Virus Bulletin praised ESET NOD32 Antivirus 5 in its official evaluation stating, “The core sets were handled impeccably, comfortably earning ESET another VB100 award and continuing the vendor’s unbroken run of passes.”

Microsoft Provides Tips to Help Protect Your Online Image
In observance of Data Privacy Day 2012, Microsoft Corp. is releasing new data about consumer behaviors online and is offering guidance and tips to help people better manage their online profiles and maintain a positive reputation.
In an increasingly connected world, everything people do online, from responding to emails and texts to clicking the “like” and “retweet” buttons on favorite Web pages, uploading photos and making purchases online, contributes to their online reputation.
Although 2012 is still new, Microsoft recommends people resolve to actively monitor and safeguard their online reputations.
Microsoft commissioned a survey* of 5,000 people that revealed a wide variance of online behaviors and attitudes and explored the resulting impact to people’s overall online profiles and reputations. With respondents from the U.S., Canada, Germany, Ireland and Spain, the research shows that although 91 percent of people have done something to manage their overall online profile at some point, a smaller percentage feel in control of their online reputation (67 percent) and fewer than half actively think about the long-term consequences of their online activities (44 percent).
