E-Revolutionary Technology for end-to-end Cash Management in Germany
Cash Logistik AG is Changing the Cash Industry Using Transtrack International’s Software Suite

CLAG is the contracting party for customers. CLAG has contracted eight CIT’s all over Germany to perform the physical cash services. With the introduction of the Transtrack’s WebPortal product, CLAG is now able to leverage the Internet in a secure way to serve their customers and connect to their CIT contractors.
Key in the success of CLAG is the smart use of technology. For years now CLAG uses the cash & process optimization software of Transtrack, called TransOptimizer. The software takes care of forecasting cash requirements based upon historical information and several (local) influences of for example ATM machines. Also CLAG is managing retail cash levels and all administration and balancing related to cash movements.
With the introduction of the Transtrack’s WebPortal product, CLAG is now able to leverage the Internet in a secure way to serve their customers and connect to their CIT contractors. The WebPortal allows CLAG to take orders for cash and services from customers and dispatch these orders to TransOptimizer and the CIT’s for further handling. During the process of physical cash movements and services the order track is visible in the WebPortal, and orders and bags can be tracked from start to completion.
CLAG is heading the cash industry with these complete and end-to-end services and technology, making it possible for them to quickly grow their business, while being able to guarantee a premium service and the highest level of control for their customers.
Transtrack International provides sophisticated software solutions to cash businesses around the world. The software is aimed at increasing efficiency, transparency and security. The software industry is undergoing a radical transformation: on-demand and open source technologies are replacing on-premise solutions, and consumers want to “pay as they go” for technology or not pay at all; tight economic conditions make it hard to launch and innovate, restricting access to capital and limiting exit strategies; and everything’s going mobile, which changes how technology is used. Join software industry leaders gathering to address these new rules for funding, building and selling software during candid discussions and fast-paced panels organized by and for software executives.

SIIA Congratulates Senate Judiciary Committee for Action on Patent Reform
Following the strong vote by members of the Senate Judiciary Committee in favor of S. 515, the “Patent Reform Act of 2009,” the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA), the principal association of the software and digital content industries, issued the following statement:
“SIIA congratulates the Senate Judiciary Committee for today’s action to pass the Patent Reform Act of 2009. This is significant progress toward maintaining America’s global competitiveness, creating jobs here at home, and modernizing the U.S. patent system.
“SIIA wants to especially thank Chairman Leahy for his steadfast leadership and persistent efforts to move this bill early in this Session. We also want to thank Senators Specter, Hatch and Feinstein for their efforts to build consensus for this bill.
“SIIA is especially pleased that the bill makes changes that begin to clarify the vague and uncertain rules for calculating damages, and to establish procedures for enhancing the quality of patents issued by the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
“We know that there will be efforts to erode the progress that has been made, and we strongly urge the sponsors of the bill to fight such efforts.
“At the same time, SIIA acknowledges the views of Chairman Leahy that much more can be done to improve this important bill. SIIA looks forward to continuing to work with the bill sponsors to improve key areas of the legislation, including strengthening the clarity on how damages are calculated, improving the provisions on fair compensation to inventors for actual harm, ensuring PTO’s ability to review patents that may be improperly granted, and generally to ensure that the abuses of the litigation practices involving patents are foreclosed.
“SIIA also strongly encourages leadership of both parties to schedule time for S. 515 to come to the floor of the Senate as soon as possible.”
